I think Im pretty and have a great personality. But for some reason men dont ever ask me out on dates. My best friend and my mom say it may have to do with being a single mom and being overweight.
I have gone to book stores, coffee shops.Im NOT a partier or a drinker(Im 30 and never been drunk nor buzzed).
What can I do? I was raised that it is being pushy or desperate to ask men out and that it makes a woman look easy if she "chases" after men and asks them out!!! I really dont get out much and have tried on line dating.
I love military men but they arent all nice. I see quite a bit of them at my work too. But am too shy to approach them.

Not trying to be mean or anything, but find some time to exercise and take care of your body, unfortunatly first impressions are nothing to do with personality.
Ask yourself what kind of men you find Hot and would like to date, and determine their body type, would they not expect the same in return. Military men? great conditioning, pushups, situps and pullups??
If your sweet, cool and friendly with and at least average body, which is really really easy if you put some work into it; you will get plenty of guys looking at you, smiling at you, and some brave one's approaching you. From there your personality can take over.
The mom things ok, at least for dating; MILF baby!, it gets a bit more sticky for marrige though.

Less whining, more dieting.
You should take up drinking. The more drunk a man gets the better you'll look to him. Also the kind of men that go for "fatties" can usually be found in bars.
You can find lots of available men in the fetish community on the internet. Try out something new. Balloons, latex and diapers are all fun and they all have their own little communities. Plenty of guys looking for someone tolerant and special.
