would a senegal parrot be able to coexist with a peach faced love bird? I would like to get a senegal but already have a peach faced love bird and dont want a problem.

In the same household after quarantine, possibly, it depends on the personalities of the two birds.

In the same cage, no. Too many chances for the senegal to kill the lovebird with one bite.

They MAY be able to hang out (while being fully suppervised) but I would not house them together.

My mom has a Senegal and my brother has a Parakeet- we have to keep them apart at all times becasue with one snip of a beak, a senegal can (and will) take off the parakeets feet, wing tips, feathers and ect.

I have 4 parakeets and 1 baby parrotlet- they are same size but I will not let them play together, becsue even though the keets are bigger, the parrotlet has bigger and stronger beaks. Beter safe than sorry :)

i also had a Senegal and a love bird. yes it is fine to have them in the same house but, understand that they do need to have their own cage and when they are out of their cages they need to be watched.... as you know love birds are not fearful of anything and the Senegal could do some damage to the little love bird..

Hi.

I have a senegal parrot. My mother also has one with a Fischer lovebird.

I agree with the previous poster about quarentine but would not house them together.
