God can solve all problems.

You are saving a life. But then again, it is more like delaying their death. But think of it this way....You might give someone those extra days or years to find God if they already have not found him. Some people who get organs from a donor change their life around knowing their is a God. Think about that

I think it is good for everyone to be a donor. Surely God tells us that no greater love exists than a person giving up his life to save another, donation of vital and even 'minor' organs are seen in the same way

Well, God wants you to help others, so wouldn't being an organ donor help people? It's good for anyone to be an organ donor.

I bellieve the question should be...Is it good for a human to be an organ donor?
I only have a piano, so I guess I'm excluded.
Nah; all joking aside...I am on the Bone Marrow Registry. I also donate blood. My organs are free for whoever...once I'm done with them.

I believe it is good because if you ever did die and your organs could be used to further a life, its just a great thing to do. And if the person that is getting your organ(s) is not a Christian, it gives them more time on this earth to be able to hear about Christ.

Honestly? I can't say.

I can only speak for myself, and I am a registered organ donor.

I guess that would fall under loving your neighbor as yourself, since I would be eternally grateful to the person who was my donor match if I ever needed one.

When I die, I'm not taking this body with me. I'll have a new body and I believe that if my old body can still do good things when I leave it behind (such as giving a lost person a chance to know God) then my Heavenly Father will be pleased.

Don't know that. But I am a Christiann and an organ reciepient and am very thankful for over 9 years of life that I would not have had without a doner.

Of course helping your fellow man is good in God's eyes. The body is nothing but a vessel, when you die your soul ascends into Heaven or decsends into hell, the body is no longer used. It won't effect the afterlife if you donate organs, are buried, mummified or cremated. What matters is if you accepted Christ as your Savior before you died.

I suppose it is. The recipients are certainly thankful, and their families. God is not against medicine.
