West Point is the United State Army's University, located in West Point, New York. All cadets study with the intent to have a career in the Army as officers. Many consider West Point to be one of the top universities in the world. It is not a traditional college education. Students go to class all day five days a week, have a rigourous physical fitness regime and practice a strict honor code. Upon graduation all cadets become Army Lieutenants and must serve at least six years in the U.S. Army.
Other military academies include the Air Force Academy, Coast Guard Academy and Naval Academy.
