A&D Ointment is the best, it will not fade your colors and had vitiman D in it to keep your skin moist, good luck with your first tattoo...

It is time for you to stop using the tattoo goo anyway. Almost everybody got it right. Cetaphil is a good lotion and start applying it daily for the next couple of months at a bare minimum.Good Luck with the tattoo

Stop using it right away! Mabey there's something in it that you are allergic to. Try to get some other type of tattoo ointment. Here's an nice sounding organic one: http://www.tattooointment.com/
There's lots more online or I'm sure you can find at a local tattoo shop. But... dont use anything that makes your skin red or breakout. If the rash worsens or continues... you should probably see a dermatologist or doctor. Good luck!!! :)

Stop using the goo, and buy some Keri lotion, apply this to your tattoo to keep it moist use it for about a month or so until it heals. If symptoms persist or get worst, see a doctor.

Make sure you wash your tattoo really good with some antibacterial soap and rinse very well. Pat dry with a clean paper towel and then rub A&D ointment on it and then rub off the excess with another clean paper towel. That goo is garbage.

Stop using the goo, go back to the tattoo place and ask what else you can use.

Discontinue use, and call the tatoo artist immediately! They will be glad to help you. The same thing happened to me on my upper thigh and I became extremely sick. One of the acne bumps became infected, I developed a boil that made me very ill. Then the boil burst and all of the infection oozed, out off and on, for 24 hrs. I was on anitbiotics for 2 weeks before I even began to feel better and my thigh was swollen twice it's size. So be careful and use an antibiotic ointment. That should help.

The word goo says it all. Stop using it. Use bacitracin or a triple anti bacterial creme for 3-5 days. Then use cetaphil lotion after that.

My ex husband is a tattooo artist and he always recommends that you don't use ointments. they can clog and irritate your skin. non- scented hypo allergenic lotions are always best...i recommend cetaphil. start by cleaning the area with a clean towel and an inti- bacterial soap, then apply the lotion with a dry paper towel...good luck!

I would get in touch with the tatoo parlor about this and ask for their advice, I'm sure they would be happy to help you in any way they can because they don't want to get any bad reports on them and their work they do.
