It depends on where you are flying from. You are not allowed to bring ANY liquids ,or even ice for that matter, in your carry on luggage in the USA. You can pack it in your checked luggage, which will most certainly be inspected before being put on the plane. If you are flying from an American airport, check the following link. you can take alcohol on board a plane, but you are not allowed to drink. You normally get free drinks, but if you are flying on a budget airline (EasyJet, RyanAir etc.) you must purchase any drinks from the cabin crew.
