You know I kind of wondered this quite a bit these more recent years. I mean when I was a kid in school there wasn't so much worry about religion this and religion that and trying to include prayer in school. I mean, give me a break.
Only time I ever knew of prayer in school is when some friends of mine didn't study for the mid-term and needed a miracle to pass! ha!

'I agree with you, but I can't understand why those who are not "religious" bother to ask or answer in this category. I don't attempt to answer questions about computer programing. Not interested, have no knowledge.
'Religion' category has become nothing more than a forum for atheist. I rarely see a question about the Bible or any other religious book, theories or legitimate questions.
Perhaps we need an 'atheist' category.

That's a good question. I guess because people is unsure of stuff, and need some kinda quick fix. I visit this part of Y! Answers because I enjoy poking fun at religion and have some real questions, too.

Who is concerned about religion? In my town people don't care. It is either you go to church or not. Just don't pay attention to those people concerned about religion.
