I was married for 5 1/2 yrs and got my residency thru marriage. Will I be able to file for my new husband?

i believe than if in this moment if ur actual husband does not have a residence there is little u can do to help him right now due to the actual immigration rules we have today . if this is the situation what i would recommend would be to get ur citizenship and then try to help him but i am not a lawyer or an immigration lawyer so i really do not know for sure what would be the best for u , ur best shoot is to go see one ....

by the way i noticed that u never said he was illegally in this country he may actually be a tourist . so depending in ur particular case things could go one way or another ....

Yes, you sure can. Since you say "residency" I assume you are a Green Card holder. The wait for you new husband to get a visa will be just over 5 years.
