i am just looking for other opinions on what makes a good mom and a good dad.

what makes a good mom and dad is having communication with their kids and not letting them do whatever they want but yet know when to give them some freedom. what makes a good mom and dad is when the kid or kids have made something of themselves and are independent, respectful human beings.

Lots of hugs, good food and laughing. Reasonable boundaries and both discipline and promises followed through on. Honesty above all is important, kids need to know their parents are humans too.

A good mother and father are people who monitor the physical and mental needs of their children. A good parent makes sure their child is properly clothed, fed, educated and kept happy.
A good parent allows their child to be who they want to be, and enrolls them in activites.
A good parent is the person who is there to cheer a child up when they hurt themselves or lose something they find precious.
A good parent is a person that engages their child to mentally grow and be an open person.

if they are here for you no matter what just like if you never see your parents alot or if they adoupt you thats why im glad that i didnt have that childhood!! <(-_-)>
