I know that he "claims" to be one, but the havoc and death and suffering and hatred he's caused seems to go against Christian beliefs. What say you?

Whether he is a real Christian or not is not for me to decide. It is for God to decide. I just know that he is reckless and has started a war that has cost many lives. Iraq is one place that America should never have gone. I know that we all will stand before the throne and give an account for what we did while still in the body. God will ask an account from each of us.Remember, it is not going to church every Sunday that makes one a Christian. The churches are filled with folks headed for hell! It is whether we have received Christ' s sacrifice for our sins. It is whether we have loved one another like Christ loved us. God may very well determine George Bush is a Christian, I do not know, and will not speak for the Lord. I just know that sending our kids to die for no reason in Iraq is not responsible, and is reckless with our children's lives. Not a very good example of the love of Christ. Making up stories to get us into war is awful! He will have to give an account to the Lord and I am afraid his family's money will not buy his exemption from judgment any more than I will get an exemption! I do not wish the wrath of God on anyone! God is just and will judge ALL mankind!

Yes, sometimes he comes off as going against Christian beliefs. I don't know if he even goes to church, or if he is claiming to be Christian to get votes.

I think he's a "Christian" for appearances only. Since he's a Republican, his party expects him to be a God-fearing, Bible-thumping, shotgun-wielding, God Bless America!, right-winger. The majority of the people who voted for him are of this ilk, so Shrub plays the part to make them happy. By keeping them happy, Christian fundamentalists continue to generously fund the Republican party and keep the Republican Cash Cow "mooing"-- because, as we all know, the Republican party is the only truly righteous party and Democrats are EVILLE. Scary, innit?

i wouldn't say he's going against the Christian ways because didn't God say if you need to fight a war to protect yourselves then do it?? although i'm against the iraq war......but i think that since he claims to be a christian..then he should be the good smaritain for once, because there's a lot of suffering going on in the world because of him kinda.......he should do what christians do.....

Bush is a murderer, and a liar, So if you rank him with the supposed Christians who closed their eyes to Hitlers doings...Then ya he is Christian, but to rank him with Christians who took their stand for God and Jesus instead of a war that kills other humans than He is as bigger looser as you can imagine. He has no understanding of Bible Based Teachings!

Now you don't want anyone judging you for your supposed beliefs so what gives you the right to speculate on something that is between a man and GOD??
