I bought a two piece swim suit and its hanging on the door of my room. I can't possibly enter or leave the room without seeing it. Its a friendly little reminder. I've also seen people put scales in their kitchen, but thats a little extreme...

Reward yourself for meeting your short term goals! Get a pedicure or facial for making the 10 pound mark!
Another way is to change up your routine. Take a new class like kick boxing or yoga...something you've never tried but have always wanted to!

No kidding, this does it for me. When you feel like gorging (and you're home of course), go stand in front of a full length mirror naked. Look at the front, the sides, the back, and feel the FLAB. Jump up and down a little and watch it jiggle. Ask yourself if you REALLY need to feed that MASS! Then go look at some photos of immaciated babies in Dafur screaming for one bowl of rice and tell yourself to go send a check to World Visions or Feed the Children instead.

Sometimes it helps to buy yourself something small ...even a new water bottle or Tshirt you'd work out in....or make a new workout list for your iPod.
As far as diet goes, just keep trying new things...try a new fruit or vegetable that you normally don't eat. Hope that helps

I would try and find some way of measuring your progress. Using scales is okay - but the best way is to measure you body fat percentage. If you can see you are improving, even slighty if that is the case, it will help you to keep going!

This might sound bad, but its what helps me.
I always look at myself either naked or in really tight clothes and compare my self to my ideal image, then when i am in class or doing hw I just remind myself by kinda pinching on my fat.
