hmmmm,,,, good question... I think the mind created God, If something didn't exist to explain things God would of been a good answer. From there different factions have used it to their own ends.

Well, God obviously created modern man complete with a mind capable of understanding the basic principles of faith and belief. Perhaps not everyone chooses to take advantage of this unique capability, that is their choice.
The next question will no doubt address evolution. You will be interested to know that the Bible does not dispute evolution at all. If you read Genesis verse 1 you will see that God created the heaven and the earth.
But in verse 2 we see that it is now without form and void. If you understand anything about God you understand that He does not create anything without form and void. So what happened between verse 1 and 2 and how many eons passed? What creatures evolved and what man-like animals roamed this planet? We KNOW man-like creatures existed. We have found their remains. But the one important difference between modern man and these man-like creatures is that we (modern man) have a soul. Those man-like creatures were simply evolved animals.
The missing link? HELLO... the missing link is God. This is not rocket science. God knows exactly what the history of the Earth is. Who could possibly believe it is less than 7000 years old? That's silly. But so is the notion that you and I evolved from a goo ball. C'mon man, give yourself a little more credit than that. And give God a little more respect than that. Why does the Bible not explain all that happened? Why should He? He is God, we are merely his creation. His best work, granted. But He is still in charge no matter how clever we may think we are.
Why do you suppose many of us are so eager to move on and see what He has waiting for us? You don't really think this is all there is do you? That's silly too. The Bible does speak of that. He says His people will sit at His side and rule and reign with Him. Rule and reign over what? HELLO... Scriptures speak of "worlds to come". You don't really think the Earth is the only planet in this endless universe that can sustain life?
The only real question is where do we fit into the grand scheme? Personally I think this is only the beginning. God needs and wants a people who will love and serve and reign with Him for eternity. Remember... "worlds to come"?
God never said we would understand all there is to understand in this life. He does say that even a simple man can understand the way to salvation. So where does that leave the folks who just can't get their mind around the fact that God in still in charge, always has been, and always will be?
Read Acts Chapter 2 if you want to see how real an experience with God can be. That chapter is a real-time record of the very beginning of the New Testament Christian church. You want "real"? Try receiving the Holy Ghost the way it is recorded in Acts. And that is just the beginning with God.

God created the Mind

The mind created god, every civilization throughout history has come up with a way to explain things that they couldn't explain with their current knowledge. A god or gods. As science has advanced over the years, the need for a supernatural explanation to these things has diminished greatly. Man created god out of some neccesity... god in no way created man.

Co-creation, the mind and "God" need each other to exist. God needs the material world to respond through the action of cause and effect in order to experience creation. The purpose of life is for God to express itself through the evolution of life. The mind interacts continually with God in a co-creative existence.

The mind created god. Humans don't like to feel alone and what better way than not to feel alone than by god. Think about it there have existed many gods throughout time and they have all been for the same reason to not feel lonely.

Atheist believes people created god and religions. People create a concept of god in their mind.

Can god create the mind including those that do not believe him? A god who is all powerful and all benevolent does not exist in reality but in the mind of people who created it.
