Two roosters can be problematic. There can be some pretty nasty battles, and injuries. I have been told that 3 is always better than 2. One is adequate to fertilise 20 hens. As far as I am concerned the fewer roosters the better.

It depends on type of the roosters and the reproductivity properties of the rooster but 1 for 5 is generally good.

2 is all you need. 1 rooster for every 10 hens. at least that is how the farmers here in missouri do it.

1 rooster will be the best if they are penned up because 2 or more will fight . If U don't have them penned you can have 2

Nope, they are going to lay eggs without fowl around, yet no eggs will hatch until you have a fowl to fertilize them in the previous they're laid. in case you elect to eat the eggs, a fowl isn't needed in spite of the incontrovertible fact that he ought to get the hens all attracted to egg laying. in case you like chicks, you DEFINATELY want a fowl or the eggs would be infertile and not hatch.
