What gravitates people to the questions they answer? Is it an energy or just random?

I look for ones that I think/know I can answer... sometimes the questions turn out to be something else and well... I don't answer or I do some research and share the links I find.

Sometimes I come across a "fun" question.. such as this.... and answer it.

It also depends on my mood, the only mood I do not answer in is when i am feeling like a flat out "b*tch".. basically if I don't have anything nice to say I don't say anything...unless it is one of those questions where a smart a** remark (in a fun way) is ok!

I will not answer questions that are not real questions just some jerk wanting to state his/her opinion about this or that and ...well ...they are just being a jerk. Also perverted "questions" are out... unless I decide to "flag" em' ... still wondering if it does any good though!

I've found I tend to answer certain questions based on my mood. If I'm feeling philisophical I immediately zoom in on questions that make me really think. If I'm feeling snarky I might look for more controversial questions. If I'm feeling silly, I look for lighter questions where being silly in an answer is okay. If I'm feeling downright mean, I'll try not to answer questions at all. :)

Things that are typed properly, that are interesting, and show some level of tuition, understanding, and curiosity. What religion the poster is who's asking them is irrelevant.

Alternately, big flashing signs of racism or stupidity or biases against given religions draw my bile, admittedly.

I answer if the person seems to be seriously asking, or if it looks interesting, or if I haven’t seen that same question posted ten times that day.

Passion, interest, a desire to spread information on a particular topic, knowledge in a specific field/topic. All of these.

i'm not really sure. i answer questions because they seem interesting to me. i have clicked on a question and not answered it before.
either because i thought it was something i didn't have enough knowledge about or it was too hateful.

good luck with this.
