I've known a whole lot of "cops." Hunting them may not be legal or even moral but if you must, go right ahead. The thing I've learned, (from experience,) is that they are not like you. They keep their mouths shut until the need arises. I would pit the skills of an "old, retired" cop, with less than perfect vision and less than cat like quickness against most of the "knowitalls" in the country. I'd be willing to wager with you. I'll bet if you let them know it's cop season, and then pursue them to the best of your ability, you'll be sleeping in the morgue. Best of luck to you and R.I.P.!

I would say check your local law for the answer to is it legal or not.
As to where that easy, the Donut Shop.
I see them there all the times in gaggles, flocks and herds.
or you could also leave a trail of Sprinkles behind and see how many follow it.

No, hunting cops is not legal. Keep in mind that over the years, cops have killed far more criminals than criminals have killed cops. "Hunting" cops could be the last thing you do.
