My bf & I've been together for over a year. He almost broke up with me a week ago because of different views on money & raising kids. It's all fine now. I started feeling insecure that he'll do this again. He told me from now on we'll talk it out.

Today, he told me he fell & accidentally grabbed a girl's butt. I believe him. But when I asked who had the better butt (jokingly), he paused & said, "I don't knoww." He couldn't believe how jealous I was acting. Atleast say MINE is better!

Then he said he may hang out w/ his 2 friends this weekend & go drinking. I only see him on weekends. I wanted to join. He's hesitant b/c he knows I would feel uncomfortable w/ all the drinking. I said I just want to be w/ him. Now I just feel selfish & back to feeling insecure. I'm afraid he'll almost break up w/ me again. I KNOW I shouldn't be feeling this way. I left a message telling him I'm sorry.

I never felt "jealous" or "selfish" before, until last week.
How can I stop this insecurity?

You are going through the exact same thing I'm going through and have been going through. I have been with my bf for over 3 yrs, and we have broken up probably about 4-5 times. I am always worried about him breaking up with me. The only thing I can tell you is that you need to get out of it before you get sucked in too deep to get out, like I am. Don't get me worng, I love my guy to death, but I have my moments where I wonder. Best of luck to you hun. Keep me posted, I would really like to help you!

ok..... u know its good to cry and let this out then it is to hold it all and end up taking ur anger out on someone u really care about. to tell the truth it seems like he could be getting tired of u but then again yall have been going out for a year he probally knows u trust him and that u wont get jealous.really think about this if he was cheating on u or somethin like that why would he u tell that he tell u that he accidentally grabbed another girls but its kinda obvious he probally did it on purpose but he felt bad about it because he really likes u. and thats probally why when u asked him he said i dont know he probally just got nervous.
just keep a close eye on him.
good luck i hope everything turns out ok.

Jealousy is a bad thing. But so is disrespecting somebody you are dating. How does one accidentally grab somebody's butt? That sounds disrespectful to her and you. And saying "I don't know" in reference to whose is "better" (an insecure thing to ask anyway) is also disrespectful.

You are selling yourself too cheap. Raise your price by demanding respect, and start by dumping this joker.

I seriously think you need to move on to some one new. How could you accidentally fall and grab a girls butt? And you believed him? You need to get some help Jealousy has no place in a relationship.

You know why you are insecure don't you? Because he doesn't seem all that committed to you. Relax, and carrying on living your wonderful life, and when he is totally and utterly committed to making you his beautiful wife, then you can give him your heart completely. Until then, carry on as your wonderful self, and please don't allow yourself to be a 'pain in the ****'. You are SO much better than that.

I suggest you dump him. He is not worth your love as he doesn't appreciate it.
