Sure, here are some ideas! Think of the hair, not the person. Just look at the hair:

I really like this one: (It's short, and straight, but not TOO short)

Don't forget, that even though your hair will be short and won't curl or hold shape after blowdrying or anything doesn't mean that it won't do some other things when it's short. Get some 'texturizing" putty, like Bed Head makes some great stuff that can really make your hair do whatever you want. Just work it through your hair and shape! You can have spiky, or soft, or peicey, all kinds of things. Go nuts!
Also, have you ever had short hair before? If your hair is long and then you cut it off, it may have new body and life because gravity isn't pulling it down so harshly! So maybe don't go TOO short, unless you are going to be patient enough to let it grow out. Which isn't bad, that's what I'm doing right now and it's fun having a million different hairstyles while you're growing your hair out! Short hair, straight, will be pretty low-maintenance. Just get some product like bed-head "afterparty" or something (it's in a hot pink tube) and use a little, rub on your hands, and rub your hands into your hair like crazy and go! It will be sexy and fast and great. A good color couldn't hurt either, because everyone knows mousy hair and bad roots showing takes away from an awesome hair cut. If you're going short, go for the whole she-bang. And have fun!!!!

I prefer hair that is shoulder length or longer, And also since that men who like females are more often then not straight, they like long hair because that looks more feminine, as most men have short hair.

Sadly, if you have fine and thin hair the best cut for you is going to be a bob or an undercut. If you get layers, it is going to take out the bulk...which will in turn make your hair appear and feel much thinner....which is what you are trying to avoid. So, get a cute bob...maybe with some facial framing and maybe a side swept bang.

I think you should go look on Google at short haircuts and see if you can find one you like or one you think would look good on you.

a bob, it could really suit you, and would also give some extra volume if you cut the right way

She doesn't really make it look good but it's the easiest, low maintenance cut ever.
