I thought he was a great guy in the beginning but as time passes, he turned out to be a jerk!

OOOHH ME. Me. I was even dumb enough to take the jerk back for an extra 18 months of pain and suffering. Glutton for punishment I am.

Oh, I definitely been there and down that road many of times. Was engaged once only to be dumped just cause he said he had second thoughts. Had a few that just used me and didn't' really care about me. so got outta those relationships fast. But yes i know how you feel don't know why but it still does hurt till this day that the one i was engaged to I loved him think part of me always will even though i could care less about seeing him ever again. weird i know. Now i just have a hard time believing a guys real feelings sometimes. Why do most guys have to be jerks??

Oh my gosh honey, join the club! I have fallen for so many jerks in my life it's ridiculous! It's bad enough when you kind of have a feeling that a guy's a jerk but you go against your best instincts and go out with him anyway (something about that bad boy image!) But I have found out that it is a thousand times worse when you think you found a great guy and he turns out to be just another jerk to add to the list. That happened to me recently and I'm still not over it. So, don't feel bad. You are not the only one!

Ooooh hunny. I had a bf I stayed with for a year. He mistreated me and walked all over me, but somehow I felt it was my fault and that if I left him, he'd just fall apart. I didn't realize until after how much control he took over my life. Lots of girls have stories like this, but the truth is, we deserve better. We deserve our perfect match. Not some pumped up beefhead who likes to prey on the emotional side of us women to keep us around. You should find out now what you really want. And don't ever settle for less. It'll never work.

All my love.

Don't listen to the person above manhattan or whatever.
They obviously cannot spell and have no idea what they are talking about.. I'm sure we'll all make that mistake in our life times, it just works out that way.
Don't worry, I am sure you'll find the right guy soon, forget him I'm sure he's not very liked by much girls, maybe at the start but it'll end soon.. I can say this by the description you give him. He's a straight up moron.

No way are you alone.

Serious B/F Number 1 - together for five years, left me after a six month affair with someone he worked with

Serious B/F Number 2 - Father of my child, together two years, took the car every day, left me with no money & no food in the house and couldn't pay our rent. I was seriously ill and had to go back to work when baby was 3 months old (with a mini stroke, sarcoidosis and depression!) and when I left him he tried to sue for full custody!

Serious B/F Number 3 - Moved out of my own home with my little girl to be in his house. He left saying we had 'different expectations' and then proceeded for the next four months (until I found the courage to tell him to **** off) to say he 'missed me' and 'was finding it hard too' and all this other bull crap. Moved in with a mutual male friend from work so now I can never go out with any of my work mates because HE'LL be there. Plus his mother emailed me to say she's still finding it 'weird'. Hello! Wasn't me!

Since the beginning of time, girls have always fallen for the a$$holes. Maybe because they didn't appreciate us, took us for granted, treated us badly..they never completely fell for us, and you know, we always want what we dont have. Thats probably why you're missing him.
