that show is fiction, there is not diagnostic medicine specialty or subspecialty. The closest thing is internal medicine, for which you go to med school for four years and do a three year residency followed by a fellowship if you choose.

simple, become a doctor. a "medical diagnostician" is just a fancy name for "doctor"
