The Bible does contain all the answers to our important questions. However, many Christians do not know how to use it to find those answers, so they ask other Christians. There are many things that are open to interpretation, of course, so it's often good to get a well-rounded perspective on something by asking persons of different Christian denominations for their response.

Personally, I'm surprised at the number of atheists and other non-religious people that are using this section. Why on earth would they want to? I haven't been able to figure that one out. I did expect to find non-Christians who were religious, of course, and there are plenty of them here, too. That was no surprise. It's the presence of the non-religious that baffles me.

We’re here to teach, preach and share what we know. Share with the unbeliever as well with our brethren. All of life’s answers are in the bible and all the answers to questions from other Christians are from that bible. Doesn’t matter if you read it from the book or from another believer. Why should someone who doesn’t know the bible well have to read through it to find their answers when they can ask another believer on here whom has read the bible and understands it. But truly you are not posting a question for an honest answer your posting to ridicule a belief. I’m sure there is some other place for that too. “For the cross is foolishness to those that are perishing”

Well the bible does and doesnt contain all the answer. It contains everything that we need to know about how to be good Christians. It doesnt contain all the answers on how to act/react/behave etc.. in every situation. Thats why God gave us minds to think about these things and the ability to communicate and ask questions so that others can spread their wisdom to those that seek it.

Sometimes Christians have interpretational and opinional questions. Not all their questions are direct facts from the bible. Also, sometimes they are surveying to see what people will say. But yes, the bible does have all the answers to life. That doens't mean we are banned from asking people questions, "religious" or not.

Last time I checked...Christianity was a religion. Why don't you try to find another section to ask your petty little questions. Oh, I forgot, everyone except Christians are allowed to have an opinion.

>They don't really ask questions...they ask some rhetorical ones and then proceed to fill 4 screens with some personal rant or pseudo scientific "proof" that they seem to think provides the answers to everything.

If they want to convert everyone else on earth, I would suggest that they start "living the talk" and convert us heathens by example, rather than selling their "beliefs" like a convention of smarmy used car salesmen.<

I can understand why Christians come here, it is about R&S, that is what we are interested in. Sharing info with other Christians. I can't understand why the unbelievers come here. Aren't all your answers in your science book?
