Shy to the MAX. I'm not your regular shy. I'm a special breed of shy. Shy like falling over myself whenever he comes around, and managing to look and sound like an idiot whenever he even steps in the room. Now, I am shy to the point where I am so self conscious. Very, very, very self conscious. So there is no point in even telling me to "build up courage" or just "you ask him out!". No point. Too shy. Soooooooo.............. can somebody help me??????????? please.....................

I empathize. I am also a "special breed of shy". Some people even doubt my ability to speak at all. Every time the guy I like flirts with me, I just sit there and giggle dumbly. You are not alone! One thing I keep in mind is he is just another human, just like me and you. He isn't of great importance just 'cause he's a cute boy. Sometimes I pretend he is my sister or a very good friend. And I just try to relax and not be afraid. If I calm down and don't make a big deal out of it, it usually works out ok! Hope this helps but sorry if it doesn't!

I can understand your situation considering that I was the same way when I was in high school. My friends had even tried hooking me up with this guy I liked, but I always ran the other way as soon as I saw him. I mean, I literally RAN THE OTHER WAY. The whole point to this is, I regret it, because I never once got to speak to him and I'll never know how it could've turned out. Bottom line, What do you have to lose? If you don't get over your shyness, the only thing you'll have to gain is regret and a bunch of "What if...?" and "We could've been..." I hope my experience can give you the courage to get over your shyness.

I'm really shy too...idk to the point of your shyness but you honestly just have to make the first move. Try talking to him or since you're so shy, try to get a mututal friend to talk with you two so it will be less awkward and uncomfortable. Think about it: what could be the worst that could happen if you try to chat with him a little? Nothing at all. Rejection will only happen if you ask him or out or if he's a complete @$$, and then you shouldn't be liking him in the first place.

Good luck and try breaking out of your shell a little by talking to him...try doing small talk like "What's our hw for tonight?" ;-)

Write him a note and give it to a good friend to give it too him. Tell him you like him and would like to meet him in such a place at such a time. And then wait for him there. Say to himi that you are very shy, but you like him a lot. Ask him to ask you a question so you can talk to him. Say any question would be fine. Just any question. See what he does. Smile at him.

whay u r experiencing is a little adrenaline rush whenever he is around. i wouldnt say u get shy when u see him but rather anxious. it make u a bit uncomfortable to know that u r in the same room with him. this can be very awkward. try initiating a conversation with him. who knows? may be he is feeling the same way.

There's nothing else you can do except build up that courage and go up to him, you never know?!
If you wait it out... he may just find someone else.
