I always have something to worry about and stress over when most of the time they arent even real problems. I'm tired of feeling this way, I just want to relax. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Have you ever thought about seeing a counselor? Sometimes worries are real and people do stress over them because we are human. But, if you don't have any worries and just invent them so you will have something to worry about is not normal. There must be a reason you do it--I would see a counselor. Sometimes exercising or keeping your mind involved in worthwhile acitivies will help. Good Luck.

I am dealing with this same problem, I dont have any advice, but I can tell you what medications I have taken, and why I quit taking it. Paxil: sexual side effects were pretty bad( lack of drive) and didnt appear to give the affect I was looking for. Zoloft: did nothing...Lexapro: accually worked quit well, anxiety vertually disappeared, the down side was I became lazy, and my sex drive dropped dramatically, to the point where I didnt have sex for a month, and it seemed ok to me, which I didnt like, I dont think this really helps you, but I thought I would share, and let you know your not alone "sweating the small stuff".

Try listening to some nice music that may help. If this has gone on for sometime you may want to talk with your doctor about it. you could have what is calleg Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD). I have this and you describe two of the same problems that I deal with. Speak with your doctor as soon as you can. Another thing to help with stress is to write things down. Sleep with a notebook by your bed and write things as it comes to you. It should help you with the stress etc.
