Would you continue to wish me luck?

Would you actually stop if I asked you to stop?

Would you also stop telling me that you'll pray for me if I asked you to stop?

Will you deflect the question by saying "YOU need to stop ________________"?

Probably tell you that they'll pray for you.

I never wish anybody luck because there is no such thing as luck. There is a plan and a purpose to everything. There are no accidents either. There is a reason for everything. But I will pray that you will receive Jesus as your Lord and Savior on the day of your visitation.

I would probably stop. I'm not the nagging type, I know I'm supposed to spread the word, but I don't want to annoying the living daylights out of someone. I might still pray for you, but I would probably keep that to myself. I didn't deflect the question...did I?

If you wished no further dialogue,I would respond accordingly.

My personal prayer life however would continue including petition for both you and others who are in need of Saving grace.

What many Atheists and others do not understand is that Christians do not take joy in dangling the doctrines of Hell and eternal judgement over those who are in our opinion "lost". Nor do we enjoy being hated...for practicing what we have been commanded to do(sharing the light that we have been entrusted with)...in a way we are the middle-men...the messengers. We must do what we must do.

Well, finding Jesus is not a case of luck, and there's no sense in looking for Him, you're the one who may be lost. As for praying for you, if you ask me to stop telling you that I'll pray for you, yes, I'll stop telling you, but, I'll keep praying for you, regardless.
But, reading Romans and John 3:16 will help you realize that we can only help lead you to where Jesus is, after that, you have to make your own choices.

I never force Jesus on anybody, nor do I pray for folks who don't want prayer. I will not wish you luck, because I don't believe in luck. Go your way in your own limited understanding of spiritual things and as the Apostle Paul says, eat, drink and be merry, for tomorrow we die. Enjoy this life, it is all you have.

First, I would never wish you luck in finding Jesus, you have to seek Him to find Him, it isn't luck. I would stop telling you that I would pray for you, but I wouldn't stop praying for you. I also would never presume to tell you what you need to stop doing, it is not my place to judge you or your life, that is God's job.

Well, I'd never say that to you. Why would you need luck on that? That's a very personal choice and there's no need to bug you about it. If I was irritating enough to push my beliefs on you, I probably wouldn't stop if you asked me too. Good thing I'm not annoying like that.

LOL! I'd say you were baiting me! ;o)

Honestly, is it any of your business what I pray about? I wouldn't heckle you about praying for you, or try to manipulate you with prayer, but if I prayed for you because you were on my mind or I was concerned about you, would you really lose sleep over whether I prayed for you or not?

I have never used prayer as a means of manipulating or insulting people. But my prayer life is not something I ask other people permission about, either. That's fair, right?

Jesus never forced or imposed himself on anyone...that's why we all have free will. You were given the free will to accept him or to reject him. That is not on me, that is not up to me.....that is between you and him. So my answer is I would not have wished you luck in the first place. I would probably say a prayer that some day you get it, and leave it at that.(believeing that which I ask in prayer will be done.)

I would never say that in the first place unless you expressed an interest in finding/accepting Jesus.
