First of all, I hope that you have had your cat spayed. You don't want her getting pregnant! Anyway, it isn't unusual for cats to want to go out, especially if they have had the chance to get out. They enjoy the sun and the birds and trees...just like people! But, you need to keep her inside in order to keep her safe from other animals and disease. You might try putting a cat ledge by your window so she can look out or you can buy a cat leash and take her outside for an occasional walk.

Our kitten is about nine months old. She always has been more curious about the outdoors ever since she went outside one day. Cats are usually curious as kittens. Sometimes we put a leash on our kitten and take her outside, she seems to get bored after a while and comes back inside where all of her belongings are. You should try taking your cat for a walk on a leash to let it experience the outdoors and still be able to control where she is.

She may lose the urge if you get her fixed. If she likes the fresh air, open a window that she can sit by. I have a cat who grew up outside but after several months of just not letting her out, she got used to being a indoor cat as long as she can sit by the window and look outside. Don't give up

Has she been spayed? If not get her spayed and she will be less likely to want to go outside. If she already has been spayed then give her lots of attention and a cat scratching post and toys to play with and she will forget about wanting to go outside. You are right by keeping her in. It is too dangerous out there for her.

She can be untrained as easily as she was trained. Cats that live inside have a significantly higher lifespan on average than cats who are allowed outside. If you do not let her out, she will get over it in time, and also have a better chance at a long, healthy life.

She didn't go outside by accident. She chose to go out. She continues to choose to go out. What does she do when she goes out? If her main activity is chewing on grass, get her a kitty grass plant to chew on.

She's still a kitten and extremely curious, she'll get over it when she get's a little older. Just do your best to make sure she doesn't ninja her way out of the house.
