How do you feel about animal dissection?

and the usefulness of the dissection?

I used to skin nutria rats racoons musk rats rabbits and deer so ain't no big deal if it helps let um have at it.

I love it!!! I am currently in biology and it is so much FUN to dig my fingers into the great belly of the poor innocent frog!!! Just thinking about it gives me a warm feeling in the bottom of my heart.

this is a very hot topic for PETA...
and our dog lab was boycotted when we had vivisection in medical school...things are getting better and we now have models to use, but cadavers are becoming less popular (people are more reluctant to donate for science anymore), so what is one to do? it is a tough subject...the mouthy kid in my med school class kept shouting to the boycotters, if you wont let us use dogs, then volunteer your mother...
i am sure it will get better, but how do you develop better pharmaceuticals without someone (or something) to practice on?
you have opened up a can of worms here...

I was close to throwing up many times last year in biology, but it did help to learn about internal organs

i really dont care for it ive gutted alot of deers because im a hunter
but i think it is a good expirence to go through so u can better understand how a body works

As long as the animals are dead, then there is no harm done to them. It also helps you learn a lot about their interior organs.

i personnaly think it is moraly wrong, you could use plastic frogs and diff. animals
