i dont know why but so many women do, personally i can tell its fake, especially when it's ratted and looks as if the hair it self costs 10 dollars, why cant women be natural and be proud of the hair they have and not try to cover it up.

Sometimes you hate the hair you have - most all women know what that's like. My hair got really thin after I had my son, so I thought about extensions because they could make them thicker, but you can't get the cheap kind. That's just wrong. Sometimes a woman tries to grow out her hair and maybe all she ever wanted was long hair but she can't because her natural hair isn't healthy enough, or thick enough. They want that hair that they know they can't get on their own. Or they like drastic dramatic changes in their appearance.

Some women, especially when they are a bit older, have hair that is thin, falls out (because of medication they are taking or another reason) or is just plain old unruly. They want to have thicker looking hair and hair that is long. Many men like long hair and that's why younger girls wear extensions. If you are going to wear extensions, get good ones! This is your hair we're talking about, it's one of the first things people see on you.

Personally I don't wear hair extensions but I feel that contrary to popular belief, alot of women wear them as an accessery or to change up their look every now and then. I've seen plenty of cute pony tails in my day that I knew were fake, even alot of nice "weaves" if they are done correctly. I do like the more natural approach myself, but I don't knock the sistas (of any race) who want to change it up sometimes

well, some women wear them to help them achieve new hairstyles.
for example, having your hair really short and wanting long hair. all you have to do is buy extensions and you've got long hair.
it does look fake at times, but the same could be said about other things like contacts and hair dye.

That's up to the person that chooses hair extensions, not up to you to judge--ever seen any that cost thousands -u have to have x-ray eyes with majestic intelligence built into ur eyes to see the difference--like high technological microscopic telescopic up to the date equipment to really know the difference without taking a hair sample and examining it under laboratory clinical procedures--just my beliefs although I might be insane tonight

Woamn will never be happy with who they are.They must wear makeup and have hair extensions and go to sun tanning salons.Not to many natural woman out here.

cuz not all people have perfect hair and they get fake hair to try to look like they have perfect hair.. my friend has it and i think her natural hair is prettier and i tell her that but she just keeps getting extensions and making her look fake!!

because women like me aren`t happy with our hrry aren`t happy with it, you can think it`s fake but if your young then it`s a good thing.
