i was just wondering because a lot of food packages say that there r different amounts of calories for cooked and uncooked food

i bought some pasta and the package said it had 230 calories uncooked and 270 calories cooked

The browner/darker toast is, the fewer calories it has. Calories are the amount of energy that can be converted
in food. By darking/burning food, less of the original substance remains (it's converted to carbon or released as
smoke)
No one would find joy in eating a severely burnt piece of toast though.

Toast is bread, just browned. Yes, it has the same calorie count as long as you don't put anything on it!

Yes, it's still bread - it may lose a few calories if you burn it but if it is just toast then no calories lost

No it has fewer because some of the calories are "burnt off" in the toasting. Unless you put butter on it of course.

i dont know, but i think the pasta is taking into account the oil used in the water maybe.
