I am married 22 years with a up and down marriage. the last 2 years a guy who i don't know has been taking notice of me! waving at me smiling. that has gone on for a long time, now he is coming into my work{ i am a waitress} with his friend! He flurts with me with a smile or a wink. I just found out he is also married! I think to myself is he happy? Well for the rest of the story when ever i see him coming, my whole body shakes so bad. I am 40 years old and have never experienced that. This whole thing is driving me crazy on what to do. We only live once, what if he is my soul mate? i want to write a note and give it to him, something simple but to the point. Don't you think a guy should now thats what he is doing to a girl. Or will i scare him off. Will he stop coming into my work? as it is now what do I have to lose.

It sounds to me like you have already made up your mind. Think of what you have in your current marriage and if you're willing to lose any of it, if you feel you have nothing their worth keeping then it's time to move on, but be absolutely sure. You could have nothing to lose or a lot to lose, make sure you have accepted your decision and then either act on it, or save what you have today.

Please have a serious talk with your husband and help him to understand that you're not happy with your marriage the way it's going right now and see if the two of you can come up with some plans to improve the situation. Getting involved with someone else would only escalate your problems and it would also be extremely unethical. Yes, I know, the attention you're getting from this other person is really flattering but it is wrong, so forget it. The next time this guy flirts with you please let him know you're a married woman and you would appreciate it if he would simply leave you alone so you can get on with your work.

You don't have time for childish infatuations, and you don't need it!

True he probably is interested in you from what it sounds like, but you have to go about this very carefully, if not handled properly you will hurt your husband, yourself and this other guys wife also.

If you are really unhappy with your husband, and have tried to work it out through some counseling to guide the 2 of you, then perhaps a divorce is in order, not every marriage is meant to be.

Once you are free of that then he would need to do the same, I guess all I am saying is that this could become one HUGE mess with everyone being married, and all over simple attraction.

I wish you the best!

All relationships have its ups and downs. You are probably feeling the way you are because he is paying attention to you and making you feel attractive. Its not worth messing up your marriage. Take his winks as your daily booster or something that gives you a smile but nothing more.

your have your selfrespect and a marriage to lose thats what. forget the life is to short trip. yea you only live once so make it wonderful with your husband. remember him? if your that miserable and you have gone to counseling, then get the divorce and do what ever your heart desires. but you have no business hurting your husband or anyone else.

sorry, just my opinion.

Hell no. You need to find a way to search for that feeling you and your husband had 22 years ago. Go on another honeymoon!

It's just flirting. Don't read more into it and possibly screw up your marriage(and his). If you're not happy in your marriage, get out. You will then be free to flirt and act on it.

Good luck
