Proactiv REALLY WORKS!
As well for the 1st answer. She probally didn't use ProActiv.
But it works really good.
Also if you make Chamommaile tea.
1.) Boil the water on the stove with a tea pot.
2.) Pour the water into a mug. (not a cup or else the cup will break. Also no little glasses).
3.) Put a facial Towel into the tea and then put the facial towel on your face and let it sit there for 10-15 minutes. Maybe more if you want.
Also ZENO works for acne Zapping. But of course it pays quite a few Cows. It's 150$.
But at Sephora if you want colors. It's 185$.. But where I live there is no sales tax so yea.
To go Walgreens. They have plenty there.
Also that is the only store I saw them at

Waah your hair if you have really greasy hair, and get a shorter haircut so its not in your face and causing you to breakout. Also, use any brand of an acne cleasener and use that when you wash your face. Avoid popping or picking at your acne, because it will make it worse and it will make the healing process weeks longer. Cut down on sugary and bread-type foods in your diet, as they can cause acne to form. See a dermatologist if nothing is working. They can easily remove acne with many treatments that take a couple of minutes, or if you don't want quick treatments, then they can prescribe you a very good acne cleanser that will remove your acne fast, with the best results. Hope this helps!

I don't know your age, but I am 19 and ever since I was 13, I've had acne. Bad acne. And I got pregnant when I was 18, and my face cleared for the most part. But now 7 months postpartrum and stressed, I've started breaking out again. I don't know what's the issue, but now I use Cetaphil bar soap for my face, a prescription gel for the acne, and Cetaphil lotion for moisturization. I also have a cream for the marks that produces full results in six weeks. All this in the am & pm. I had Proactive, but the wash was too harsh for my skin with the microbeads, and after a while, I couldn't afford it. I used to wear make-up everytime I walked out the house, but yesterday, JUST YESTERDAY, I decided not to. I decided to let it take its course because all of the spending and hoping and stressing isn't worth making it worse. And don't over-wash or apply alcohol - it makes your skin dry, then your face produces more oil to make up for it, which means more pimples. Just try to wash twice daily, go to a derm to get a PRESCRIPTION gel/cream because the doc can assess your situation, and just breathe. Nothing Lasts Forever.

NATURAL ACNE PROTOCOL
1/ Never, ever touch your face.
2/ Use 3 facecloths to wash your face, one to soap on, one to soap off with very hot water, one to rinse off with ice cold water, in that order, once a day.
3/ If you are under 18 take 5,000 IU of vitamin A once a day with a full meal
4/ If you are over 18 take 5,000 IU of vitamin A twice a day with a full meal.
Do not get pregnant while taking vitamin A. Do not take any more, like Accutane, it will stop you growing.
5/ Never, ever. pick, squeeze or pop your spot. Read number 1 again.
6/ Do this for 90 days.
7/ Invest in a brand new pillow and 2 new or more pillow cases to double bag' your pillow. HOT wash every couple of days.

A bit of advice given to me as a teenager, a bit of science as I am studying allergic reactions and vitamin A is a part of that. A bit of research: I sat in a lecture at the back and watched the acne prone pick at their faces, those with the worse acne touched their faces 32 times in an hour, the clearest complexions didn't touch their faces even once. I have circumstantial evidence that acne is the result of dermatophyte transfer from hands to face...where it does not get washed off and is well fed by hormones, sweat a
nd oil...just a hypothesis... But it would explain why vitamin A is so effective as vitamin causes skin to remove dermatophytes.
The secret is never to touch the spots
Tips on how to treat acne and achieve perfect clear skin in as little as 7 days?

The fastest way might be to use proactiv. When I started using it my skin started looking better right away the acne was less red.
There are other ways to work with your acne like getting a Benzoyl peroxide wash a toner and a benzoyl peroxide cream or moisturizer depending on how dry your skin is.
Do not use toothpaste. if you have to use something at home use antibacterial soap.

I have tried absolutly EVERYTHING. And well, nothing works...
And then it all makes the acne worse.
I have learned that just washing your face and doing nothing more, works a whole lot better. And try not to were so much make up over it...
But, if you insist on trying to get rid of them...then put asprin on it. It actually does work and makes them smaller. Get the tablet and crush it up then put some water in it until it makes a paste.

I think a lot of people try to treat Acne using over the counter products but I think it's important that you visit the dermatologist and get his/her advice. I used Proactive for 3 years and then all of a sudden it stopped working. I speak with a lot of people and they all say the same thing.

Honestly, if you're a teen, you may have to just wait it out. I had a lot of acne when I was a teen and nothing I tried ever helped. It's just that time in your life, although I know that doesn't really help you right now. Proactive helped me, but when I tried it, I was in my 20's so my hormones were settling down. You might try it, though.
