Everyone that I know of was born exactly once. I would think being born twice would be medical malpractice. If anyone claims they were born twice the odds are they are lying.

According to Jesus in John 3, except a man be born again of water and spirit, he cannot see the kingdom of God, so if you are not born again, you are not really a Christian. Notice in particular John 3 verses 3 - 7. Read it; it's not what I said, it's what Jesus said.
Many "Christians" have really experienced nothing more than mentally agreeing that Jesus is the son of God, and some have doubts about that. When you are "born again," you have experienced recieving the Holy Spirit, which is very real.

The sad reality is that few people have actually met a true Christian. I would be pleasantly surprised if there are more than 7000 actual "born again" followers of Christ in the USA. "Well done, good and faithful servant."

Most of the people in church (myself included) follow Christ when it isn't too much trouble, and we feel like it. If being a Christian was truly costly as far as persecution, we would be "out of there". "I believe, help me with my unbelief. Lord, have mercy on me a sinner."

It is very possible that 80% of the people in church are just practicing "religion" and "churchiology". It is something they pretend to do on Sundays, but the rest of the week they are little or no different from non-believers (except smug, argumentative, and self-righteous). "Get away from me, you workers of lawlessness. I never knew you."

A true follower of Christ can be identifed by humility and a 24/7 effort to be a good ambassador of Christ ... to show the care and kindness of The Savior.

You must be born again to be a Christian. Christians are followers of Christ. People who have not experienced a spiritual rebirth will have no idea of what fellowship with Christ is.

Some may call themselves Christians based on their works but we know what Paul said about that.

There is no difference. All Christians are born-again.

The term "born-again" comes from a parable Jesus taught where he stated that his followers would be born a second time. This is also related to baptism which symbolizes this process of dying to self (going under the water) and rising as a new creation (coming out of the water).

If you are a true Christian, you are born again. Being born again means that you accept Jesus as you Lord and Savior and have faith in him. When you profess this with your mouth! You die to your old life and old ways and are "Born Again" to live your life for Christ, being baptized with the Holy Spirit given by Jesus. Jesus commands us that we be baptized of water as well, we do this in obedience to his command.
