I have never had a steady boyfriend even though i've had several offers in my life time. I guess you can say I think all guys are bad or they judge you before they even meet you. So this is my most recent offer and since i'm tired of letting life pass me by and saying no all the time..... Do you guys think this fellow is SERIOUS about me. The facts: He always starts conversations with me whenever or whereever he sees me and walks me to and from class. He seems to listen to everything I say to him I can tell by his responses. He just recently invited me to go to a concert with him today and said he would pick me up and bring me back home. I told him I did'nt know but would let him know on Thursday. I'm 19, never had a steady boyfriend bc I don't trust guys, maybe bc of my self esteem too not thnking i'm attractive enough to where the guy is being serious with me, etc. I am not used to going out with guys alone, even though I must admit I do feel confortable talking to him. Is it time?

He invited me to come and watch him play the guitar he said in a concert. does that make it better or worse..

Sure give it a try, it's just a date and what is a date for, not to commit to him but to see how compatible the two of you are with each other. Take several dates first, there is no need to decide so quickly on something so important.
If you are nervous going out alone, then go somewhere on a double date, go out to eat or the concert or something. But one way you can judge how serious he is about you, is how long he wants to get to know you before he wants to become intimate, if it happens too fast then I would consider that a big red flag.

A guy wouldn't invite any girl to go to a concert with him- he'd probably invite his best buddies first before any girl, unless he liked her a lot. So I'm hedging my bets on that he likes you, and if he's willing to invite you to a concert you should at least go and find out if he really likes you or not for yourself.
