I've been dating my boyfriend for about 2 months now and prom is in another month...i LiKe him...not love him but my mistake was saying it to him. He makes me uncomfortable asking me things like "will you be with me forever" or constantly saying he loves me...I haven't really showed it much but i don't feel the flutter in my heart like i would to a guy i would really like..so it feels like i'm using him but then prom is next month so i couldn't live withmyself if i dumped him now but he's getting way to clingy. My grades are slipping, and i haven't seen my friends, i don't think its the right time for me but it's been on my mind alot....what should i do, i don't feel anything in my heart but then i've lied to him...
He's likeing me more and more "falling more IN love with me" it's scaring me...it sucks it's the principles son too hah...

imagine looking back on your prom night years from now and thinking, "god that guy was so clingy and lame, my prom night totally sucked because he wouldn't let me dance with my friends, or talk to my friends." it'll be hard, but go ahead and dump him, it's only been TWO months. sounds like he has issues if he's already wanting to be with you forever, and keeping you away from your friends. go to prom with a close guy friend, or a group of girls. enjoy your prom girl, you'll have those memories forever!

If you stay together, you're going to regret it. Everyone's prom should be special, not with someone they really don't want to be with. You obviously feel that he isn't right for you & there's no point in being with someone that you don't really like. Besides, you're only leading him on by doing so. You could either tell him that you want to slow down and see how things go or just completely break it off.

YOU ARE TOTALLY USING HIM--> you won't be happy together.. so you're not dumping him because if you do you won't have a date for your prom?! bad girl.. still you should tell him how you feel and/or tell him that you really didn't mean to say that you love him.. LOVE is a really deep word.. and when you tell that to a loved one you should really mean it.. seriously.. i mean i know you don't wanna hurt him or something.. and its the principle's son.. you should at least be careful of what you tell him.. talk to him nicely. tell him i like you but don't love you.. thats the way my friend did to his boyfriend.. she accidentally said i love you to him but she really meant that i like you in a jokeing way.. just explain to him.. but i guess if you want a date to your prom.. you are gonna wait tiil the prom ends huh??

well you shouldn't be going out with a guy if you don't love him! and you would only be using him if you waited until after the prom to break up, just be true and honest to him and tell him you feel that you have been unfair to him because you don't love him like he deserves to be loved and so you should break up with him.
it might be hard for him, but he'll realize one day that you were turhtful and nicer to have broken up with him than let him love you more and more and then make him believe a lie for longer...

u have nothing to feel guilty about. it is the stage in your life whenyou enter into many relationship with expectation to find the right guy. if you are not ready for a commitment and you feel pressured, you should let the guy knows. it is okay to go to prom with him if you are up to it. try concentrating on ur school work if u are unable to balance the 2. boys will always be around. just remember you have nothing to feel guilty of.

you are indeed using him! you don't want to break up with him because the prom is next month already? what kind of a reason is that?
if you're not happy with him anymore, leave him. let him become happy with someone who will really love him they way he gives out love.

the best thing to do in your situation is to not dump him but instead lightly let him drop to the ground like a feather or u could just confront him and tell him that hes getting in to deep either way its your choice not mine and i do not know the full story

dump him now you'll only regret going to prom with someone you didn't care for later. it's not fair to either of you to stay in a relationship ou don't see going anywhere

dang, so hes like a cheeezball(always saying cheezy things) thats a stiky situation...but if u brake up with him who will u have for prom, wait and if it gets worst brake up with him, tell him he just seems fake and nothing but a sweet talker or sumtin...
