You can have any credit score and get a $17k auto loan.
The real question is what % interest do you want to pay.
The second factor is new versus used vehicle.
The third is what % are you putting down.
New vehicle is better interest rate, which is wierd because used actually depreciates less, but that's how it goes.
Obviously, the more you put down, the less risk that you are, and the better rate you get.
Over 750 would probably get you about 7 - 9 % right now, and then it goes up as your credit score goes down.

atleast a 620 with a high down payment, or high apr. Or you can get a loan with a co-signer, dont even try with lower than a 600 you will get no one to give you a loan without a strong co-signer and still kinda hard at some places. just gotta try and hope for the best. good luck
