I'm looking for a tastey main dish (no deserts please) that involves dead sand. The kind you sit on at the beach.

I have a great recipe. First dig a hole in the sand and then put really hot rocks in it, then cover the the rocks with a large green leaf (like a banana leaf), then wrap a whole filet of fish in foil and place on the leaf. Put another leaf on top, put the sand you dug out back in the hole, and let the fish roast for about an hour, then take out and eat...
