Kenwood got some awsome amps for a good price. I have a Kenwood KAC-9102D Amp 850 RMS 1700 Peak. The best amp i ever bought.

There is nothing wrong with Sony, it's the idiots that don't know how to wire mobile audio that say this.
I've had a Sony for 3 years with NO problems and thumps very well.
Always look for CEA-2006 compliancy. Good news is Sony is CEA-2006 compliant.
