Can you drop what you have been taught and actualize what you are? Or maybe all you are is what you have been taught and believe. Just what is the truth of yourself without the trappings of society and religion? Share a few words?...........For some reason this question was deleted, so here it is again.

Not sure what you're fishing for. Looks to be a lot of double talk to me. Kind of like that guy on PBS, Wayne Dyer. Sounds like you believe his teachings.
No one, including you, can drop what you are taught. You espouse beliefs that you have learned. I looked at your bio and your question also reflects your beliefs. Somewhere along your life you accepted your system of belief. Someone who you respected and believed persuaded you to your beliefs. Nothing new under the sun.
I believe in God. I grew up without religious indoctrination but in my teen years I started to hear of it from a family member. At first I rejected it. It made no sense and I didn't want to give up what I wanted to do. But I did have an interest in learning more. I was not completely satisfied in anything that I did. I had moments of satisfaction and happiness but that's all. When I became born again, I still had the old baggage attached but there was a very big difference in the way I felt when I prayed. It was as if I was talking to God and not the ceiling. This started my walk with the Lord and it has had many bumps along the way. But I thank God that He is merciful and has always been but a prayer away for me. I may not be "happy" all the time but deep inside I am content no matter what I go through. The longer I live, the more I see evidence of a God. I'd be foolish if I didn't see it. I see why Paul wrote Ephesians 1:18.

Neither. As far as dropping what I was taught to believe, I did so to keep the dream alive. If I would have known the truth immediately after the dream began, there would be no dream. I am enjoying the dream and I will wake up when I choose to. Isn't it great that I created the illusion of time, so the waking process seems to take a while? I'll have my coffee later, thank you......I am proud of myself, for doing such a great job at fooling myself....Pretty clever, don't you think? I like not knowing.......

Shhhh. Don't tell anyone, but the belief that there is such a thing as a person prior to and independent of "the trappings of society..." is incoherent. All persons becomes "persons" only in and through the trappings of some society.

I am alive.
I exist.
I have a body but I know I am not the body as I acknowledge the body as something that I own. It belongs to me but it is not me.
I have a brain but it is just an organ controlling all my bodily and mental function.
I have intelligence but I know it to be a property of my mind.
Who am I then?
I am an existence beyond the body and the mind. The body and the mind are my tools for living in this world and expressing myslef.
Who am I then?

You are what you are. You are shaped by what you have been taught. If you drop all you have been taught to believe, then you would be nothing.

I have no idea what I am. It seems to change all the time.
Until of course I start thinking 'hey, that's not like me is it?' At which point I have to smack my (metaphorical) wrist.
