I love my Ocicat. He's adorable. Does no one else have this breed???

No they're aren't wild but they're not all that common either. The original idea was to breed a Siamese with an Abysian to get a color pointed Abysian. The first generation look like Abysians but when the second generation came around the kitten was spotted. American Tabbies were added to give a silver hue.

Nope, Ocicats aren't wild... they were bred from Siamese and Abyssinians. The Ocelot, on the other hand, is a wild cat mostly found in South America, Central America, and Mexico.
