We had 3 dates and I thought all he wanted was sex. He was very offended and thought that I had baggage... what's with that? I don't understand.. it is only common sense that tells you not to trust someone until you know them better..... Was I in the wrong?

well, people like to be trusted, but this guy does sound like what he wanted was sex. him being offended was his way to try to get you to do it with him. you are not wrong to not trust him.

See guys think differently. Sounds like you have the guilty til proven innocent attitude, but guys have the innocent til proven guilty mindset. I've had the same issue in the past, and I felt like the girl was comparing me to guys she's dated in the past, and basically putting me in the same category as they were, why else woudln't she trust me even thought I've done nothing for her to distrust me. Give the dude a chance, he might be alright. Hope this helps.
