I have very dark dark brown hair that looks good, but when summer comes I'm always in the sun and my hair gets faded and then looks like crap. Is there anyways to keep the sun from lightenig my hair so its not all faded?

Use John Frieda Brunette Products. I've used the one for True Red and it kept my color from fading for a really long time. I think Pantene makes a product like that too, but I never tried that one.

Why don't you go to Rite Aid, Wal-Mart or some place like that and look over the new hair glazes. I'm not saying they are the answer, but it's worth a try. You put it on about 3 days a week when you are in the shower. See what you think.

You can buy sunscreen made special for your hair which will help prevent fading. Also, try wearing a hat.

Get your professional hairdresser to do a gloss with redken shades EQ...Then use Purology products to maintain your hair. If you have a water softiner, get rid of it it will ruin your hair.
