What is the difference between multi-media card and SDcard?

My camera uses SD memory card. Do I need a special card for audio/video?

There just different format of storage format. SD card is more reliable. If your camera supports both then is good. you dont need special card for audio/video

MMC is an older version of SD, making MMC outdated. SD slots will still read an MMC card, but not vice-versa. Of the two SD is currently the standard.
