In Canada I know you have the right to an interpreter in the judicial court system, however if you're contacting a company and you do not speak English, are you allowed to ask for an interpreter? will the be able to help you with that? are they supposed to be helping with that?

No.

There are two official languages in Canada, French and English. Unfortunately, the Charter of Rights and Freedoms only applies to individuals and Government. Businesses are exempt.

No, it doesn't work like that when you're outside the legal system. Actually, you are supposed to be proficient enough to communicate with them or to do whatever you are supposed to (if you're an employee, for example).
