I really like this girl, and let's say that her name is Monica. My guy friend's name is D. Well, my friend D is friends with Monica's female friend S. It seems that D and S always act funny around me. I know that Monica is shy. It always seems like D and S are trying to figure out if I like Monica, but they won't ask me.

I honestly think they know that she likes you. that is why they are acting so strange around you. the really only way to find out is to ask her yourself. you'll never know unless you try.

How does she act around you? Shy but smiling and friendly
towards you? Any eye contact? Why don't you tell your friends you like this person? IT can't hurt and it may help.Then
suggest a get together with your friends. If she is interested
you soon find out.

I think she may like you... If D or S ask you directly, tell them the truth. If you like Monica, then they'll pull you two together, they play the part of mediator, it will help.

tell them you like her, or better yet, talk to her, you said she's shy, maybe she's reluctant to talk to you. you never know until you try.
