Living life against our natural impulses and following Jesus are not always easy. It's also not easy to stand on your faith and let God do what needs to be done. The end result is to learn, grown and become closer to God. That makes it worth the work one has to do.

Heaven. Our motivation is heaven. I think he meant that, of course, this life is not going to be easy by any means. It will be full of suffering and pain, but it will all be worth it in the end, when we will stand before God at the gates of heaven. If we are going to go through life, and the suffering that it includes, at least we have something completely magnificent to look forward to, and when that day comes we will realize that it really was worth all of it.

It means that all who try and live a Godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted but the Glory we will receive out weighs the temporary evil! Here read this;
freedomcame. /glory/ put com after freedomcame and before /glory for the link this system has blocked it from appearing normal

To follow Christ is to die to our selves, and we are born with a selfish human nature. It is not something that comes easily.
It is worth it because we get to worship the creator of all things forever and ever. It is worth it because we get to be where He is and not eternally separated from Him.
Study and read the bible.

Of course it's not easy--have you ever met another Christian who obeys Christ by ceasing to see in in others--who has stopped judging & condemning others??--but you were not born doing that--it must be possible--just not easy.
