ok so i broke up with this guy then we got back together then we broke up again for a long term period. then after maybe 3 months yesterday we got back together. and we have been telling eachother we love eachother. but i know he loves me i am not sure if i feel the same way about him . I really dont think i love him like he loves me. i dont think i love him period. scratch that i dont love him but i dont wanna break his heart for five reasons:
1. we started going out AGAIN yesterday
2.it would be the THIRD time i broke up with him
3. he said he was gonna buy me something i wanted
4. i kissed him today, it will just confuse him if i break up with him
5. he will hate me
WHAT DO I DO?!??!?!?!!?
plus i still love my x boyfriend and i wanna get back with him

Okay...I'll try and address each reason you don't want to break his heart. 1) Yes, you JUST started again, but do you wanna go on pretending and just le thim get more attached? 2) 3rd time's the charm...if you already dumped him twice, that should be a sign that you don't wanna be with him...recall the reasons why you broke up. 3) It's not right to let a guy who you plan to breakup with buy you something...that makes you a user and you don't seem like that kind of person...it's wrong and you know it. 4) You kissed him because you're supposed to be a couple...but just don't kiss him anymore...simple. 5) If he loves you, he can't hate you...he may get angry at you for awhile, but that's obviously expected if you keep getting back with the guy but don't love him...but is it worth your unhappiness just to make him feel better? P.S.-if you still love your ex and want him, then you shouldn't be with anyone new because you're still stuck in the past...talk to your ex if it means that much and see if you can work it out. BOTTOM LINE- You KNOW you don't love this guy, so end it now before he gets more attached...the sooner you end, the sooner he can move on...and if you're just completely honest about everything, then he'll appreciate that. You are in trouble. You have put yourself into a position where you aren't comfortable, seemingly for very shallow reasons.
My suggestion would be to step back and re-evaluate what it is that you want from your relationships. Be certain about your choices before you make them.
Having said that, you need a solution for your current dilemma. I'd say dump him, as you're not with him for a good reason - "he said he was gonna buy me something i wanted"???? Come on now....

Tell him that you cant keep breaking up and getting back together because you are sick of it. If he loves you he will understand.And dont let him bribe you into loving him. Your sick of it and you want to move on so do so. GOOD LUCK. Make the right choice.lol.

just be honest with your self and him,tell him you want to just be friends because it hasnt worked out the last few times and you dont want this to get yucky because you didnt want to hurt him again and you need some time for your self to figure this out .good luck

you like him for such shallow reasons. you must not continue your relationship with him because if you make last even longer, he'll be hurt much harder in the end. think about it. you don't want to hurt him so bad don't you? he deserves to know the truth.

if you found out your boyfriend still loved his ex and wanted to get back with her...wouldn't that be grounds to dump him.
just dump him..it will hurt him but it will hurt him more if you keep playing cool with him

its just messed up. I was in the same situation (guy part) and it sux... horribly. Dont do that to him; and dont do it for the present that just worse. Let him off easy, and... yeah; ur $crewd no matter wat in this situation.
