well if you have a big overbite that you can tell the difference , than maybe it could affect you in the future. if it is a normal type of overbite than you'll be fine. now if you start having problems when you eat or get headaches a lot then ask your dentist if not go to your doctor.

Only if its affecting your chewing your food well. The digestive system will be over worked if you don't chew your food up finely. An ex of mine had extreme jaw pain with an overbite he had his mouth rewired at a bout 37 very expensive tho..he 45 now and all is well.

AN OVERBITE IS HOW FAR DOWN THE UPPER TEETH ARE OVER THE LOWER TEETH.SOME OVERBITE IS USEFUL WHEN BITING INTO LETTUCE, APPLES, ETC.
A HEAVY OVERBITE MAY IMPACT THE FRONT TEETH AGAINST THE GUMS OF THE LOWERS, BUT THIS IS RARE. HAVE A DENTIST GIVE YOU A BITE EXAM AND REFER YOU TO AN ORTHODONTIST IF NEEDED.

The only thing is you may have to chew your food more than you do now. A dentist would be perfect for this question. Ask him or her.
