I am very sensitive, but I find that approach doesn't work with most people and quite often I find that blunt does work better (not rude, but just saying what you have to say).. Is that 'dishing it out what you can't take?'....

A lot of people would say yes thats dishing out what u cant take, next time you're blunt with someone, try to put yourself in their shoes and think about how you'd feel if someone said that to you. If you wouldnt care then you arent dishing what you cant take.

You can say what you need to say but there's always a way to say it without hurting anyone's feelings.

For some people it takes practice....but it's do-able.

I think if you can't take it then you shouldn't dish it out either.

It depends on what your motivation is. If it's to make communicating quicker and easier, i don't see anything unethical.
