I've searched for a long time myself, feeling basically the way you do.
Based on what you are saying, you are simply monotheistic. If you do not practice, or are not looking to fall under any organized sect, then there is no label. Just be you, man-and don't worry about what you should call it when people ask.
I believe in a creator, but it is not the same Christian God I grew up being taught about. I have found that my beliefs fall closest to being wiccan, and have been studying the different aspects of the religion....finding so much of what I already "knew" to be encompassed within it.
Those who truly want to know, and not just blindly follow the herd of sheep they happened to be born into, can only read and find out everything they can get their hands on, and decide for themselves later. You already sound like you're sure about the general stuff, and that's all that really matters. There is, however, alot of spiritual enlightenment to be found in the search for knowledge, and studying different religious beliefs, whether you agree or not, can only bring with it understanding of others and of yourself-so don't close it off altogether.

Perhaps you follow Deity underneath the Pagan umbrella. By saying "Pagan umbrella," I mean there are many different traditions that fall underneath it, such as "Christianity" is the umbrella term under which fall Baptist, Methodist, Catholic, Lutheran, Jehovah's Witness, COG, COGIC, etc . . . different branches / paths, but the same generalization.
Myself, I am Wiccan ((formerly Baptist)). Wiccans follow the Wiccan Rede: "Do what ye will with harm to none" ((that includes oneself and others--nature, animals, et al)) and "the Law of Three" ((whatever you put out, be it good or bad, comes back three-fold)).
Rede Of The Wiccae
Being known as the counsel of the Wise Ones:
Bide the Wiccan Laws ye must
In Perfect Love and Perfect Trust.
...
Mind the Threefold Law ye should -
Three times bad an’ three times good.
Eight words ye Wiccan Rede fulfill -
An’ it harm none, Do what ye will.
Whatever you discover your Spirituality to be, whether it comes with a label / title or not, I wish you well on your path -- and all you learn and strive to do / be.
Blessed Be, Wynter Ravyn.

Try the "What's Your Spiritual Type?" quiz at beliefnet.com in the quiz section. It may ask you more questions than you've considered and should tell you where your beliefs line up with the major world religions, although it doesn't appear you really need a label. A lot of people these days identify themselves as spiritual but don't have a "declared" religion.

I would say your religion is THEISM and your political philosphy would be LIBERTARIAN.
You are a theist because you believe there is a God who is involved in your life somewhat (although on your terms and not His).
You are a libertarian because you seem to believe that people should believe and act as they wish with no interference from others unless what they believe or do causes harm.
Next time you talk to God, try getting on your knees. It feels good and pleases Him. God bless you.

You contradict yourself:
"I believe there is a"God"."
"Having said that, I dont believe in any organized religions, I dont like anything that puts a man on his knees."
Then you don't really believe in God. 1) God is God of order. It is not a religion of things to do because He already did it all for you. It is a relationship with Jesus, but you come to the Father only one way, thru Jesus. He is a God of order, and both His church and His kingdom have order to them. They are very well organized. If you don't like that, you don't like God. 2) No one comes to the God who really is and doesn't end up on his or her knees. If you don't want to be on your knees, even on your face before a just and holy God, you don't really want anything to do with God. Thus, your category is "atheist."

Give it a try. You answer some basic questions about your spiritual beliefs, and it will tell you what religious group you best fit into.

I respect your right to believe what you want. I am also glad to hear you do believe in god.
That said, why bother believing in god if you don't expect him to do anything? You said you do not expect him to do miracles, but just to watch over you. So, you want him to prevent that taxi from running you down, just no miracles. But isn't stopping the taxi a miracle?
And why believe in god if you have no intention of doing anything for him in return for stopping the taxi?
Maybe your god is too small.

You follow your moral concept. You have no religion, but the closest is a very loose form of Christianity (in the Protestant branch).

Well,if you were praying to God in the Christian sense,I would say "simple Christian". However, given that you aren't,I guess I would have to say "deiest". Anyway, you believe in a Supreme Being and seem to have a good relationship. I'm cool with it.
