there's this guy, he's txting me right now and he's asking me if i want to be his g/f and I like him but not like that but i think he's the type of person that would avoid me if i told him i didn't like him like that and just as a friend.
we joke around a lot. how do i say it in a way that's kind of joking but equally serious?

Listen, just come out and tell him. If he not mature enough to understand that you like him as a friend but not boyfriend. Then he is not mature enough to be in any kind of relationship. If he don't want talk to after that, no sweat off your back.

Be like yeah.. thats what a girl does until she finds her prince charming :)

i'd say no. he knows you're not interested otherwise he woulda asked you in person. this way you can let him down and he won't be embarrassed in front of you.
