I guess I have kinda been a this situation...I am a sophmore and i have dated seniors. It is the same amount of years difference. I'm sorry I can't give you a real straight answer, it really just depends on the guy. I think if you find some common ground it should work out fine. I really hope it works out well for you. Good Luck!!!

i am currently datin a junior in high school and everything is going well. We had a rough patch earlier with his ex girlfriend who wouldn't leave us alone. But we've been a "thing" for a couple months, officially for a couple weeks. Im a freshman right now with this junior. Its harder to hook up because of my parents and they are scared about their little girl with a junior, but after time they warm up to him. Have fun girl! Older guys make life more fun. (and stay adstinent, dont let him pressure you. tell him that you aren't interested in that) good luck

Most junior high and high school relationships don't "work out" long term, but they're not supposed to! It's all part of growing up and the first steps down that long road that will eventually lead you to your life partner.
Date, enjoy, meet people, have fun, and don't stress out!

Whether or not it will work out is not something anyone can assure you of.
All I can say, is just be wary, he does have a few years on you.... make sure he's dating you for the right reasons. As long as your parents approve and you feel comfortable, go for it... see how much the two of you have in common and go from there.

Go for it if its what you want. If hes a nice guy and you really want to date him, go for it, just be up front on how you feel and him too, be honest with him and it may work out. Don't let your friends turn your head. Good Luck!

As long as you and him are on the same maturity level, two years is NOT that big of an age difference. As long as you feel safe and comforatable with this guy, I say go for it.

age is a number.... it depends on the guy, and dont date him just because hes hot, only you can tell if it will work, if you want it to work, live life.... but dont stay with him cause you want to, stay with him because you feel like thats whats right!!

If you're good looking he probably doesn't really like you. He's a 17 year old boy.
