How can I tell if I still love him or not???

theres this guy that I love and hes had a gf for 2 months now, i was going to ask him out the day he asked this other girl out any way to make a long story short I have finally given up on any hope of dating him, I don't feel like a stalker any more, i don't know, that little bit of stress thats gone, it feels good, but don't get me wrong, I stillcare about him, a lot, I am happy that hes happy and I'd be sad if hes sad but if he ever asks me out I might say yes, idk, the love has faded a lil bit each day since he asked her out and i think its all gone I know i care about him but I don't know how much anymore

Young love is the best because it is all so innocent. You are going to fall for lots of boys you will care about some of them a lot but if the one you care about is with another person, it was not your time.

It is hard to measure how much you care about someone if you are not dating them, however you can be infactuated with someone and spend all your time thinking about them and loving everything about them and this is perfectly fine.

The stalker thing made me laugh, you remind me of me when I was a young girl, I still think about the first boy I really cared about and yes my heart does a little flutter.

Let yourself experience as much as possible before getting ready to settle down with one person, enjoy your friends, have fun and when you least expect it your time with someone special will come.

You know what, I don't usually get into this type of thing, but it sounds like you really care about this guy. I think you should tell him how you feel. If you don't, you'll always look back at the moment and say WHAT IF.......... You don't want to go through life asking yourself what you could've done, or how it could've turned out if you would've done this or that. Hope this helps.

I doubt what you felt was ever really love anyway, as it doesn't sound like you knew him well (and love takes time to grow, as you get to know someone).

What's probably happened is the attraction you felt toward him has waned due to your feeling that it wasn't going to go anywhere since he was dating someone else. That's a good thing actually, why torture yourself by holding on to a fondness for someone who isn't in a position to act on it? It just makes the situation tough on you.

I'm really sorry, but I can't tell you if you still love him or not. The best I can say is, you still love him, but I think you're just jealous....no offence.
Only you can know if you still love him or not. Don't ask other people, 'cause no one can know for sure.
